As a kid growing up in rural Montana, Chad Gerber poured everything into his music at an early age taking harmonica lessons at the age of 6, then classical guitar lessons at the age of 8. Spending countless hours practicing daily in his bedroom while playing in any local bands and music projects that would take him, his persistence and dedication slowly began paying off. In his teens he started booking national studio sessions and tours as a hired guitarist from a demo he self produced while in Miami on a gig. This eventually lead to his move to Los Angeles where he began working with singer songwriter Aloe Blacc on a variety of projects, while performing throughout Los Angeles with a handful of bands. In 2017 after producing and performing in the underground electronic scene throughout the US and Europe as Woodrowgerber, Chad began working with several artists while in Brazil and Amsterdam as a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist. This led to the 2018 Warner Music release of Keep On Dancing by producer Darick Gyorgy, featuring Chad Gerber as vocalist and songwriter. In 2019 Brazilian DJ Dre Guazzelli released a remix of the track under Warner Music that included lyrics and vocals by Chad Gerber that didn’t make the original cut. The success of both releases lead to the first official Chad Gerber single, Soldier Girl. With major label releases, to dominating the underground electronic and indie charts, composing film scores, performing throughout the US, Europe, and UK, Vans Warped Tour, and working with some of the biggest artists in the world (Aloe Blacc, Alok, Cheatcodes, Malifoo, etc).
