Born and raised in the Ankole region of western Uganda, Wizkotswaga’s early life was shaped by traditional rhythms, community storytelling, and everyday street experiences that later became the foundation of his music.As a child, his journey took a turn when he moved to North Eastern Uganda, where he completed his primary and ordinary level education. Although his formal education ended at that stage, his passion for music continued to grow stronger. Surrounded by diverse cultures and sounds, he developed a unique musical identity that blends Afrobeat grooves with street-pop energy and real-life storytelling.Wizkotswaga discovered and sharpened his musical talent through the BandLab app, which became his creative home. Using only a mobile phone and determination, he taught himself music production, vocal recording, and mixing. This DIY approach allowed him to fully control his sound and express his truth without limits.Today, Wizkotswaga stands as an original independent artist, running his own label and handling every aspect of his music—from writing and recording to production and release.
