We talked about making the exposure brighter, but I wanted to stay with the natural light, just as it looked when we filmed. In fact, if you watch beginning to end, you can actually see the light change a bit as the sun rises throughout the 4 minute video. By the end, warm oranges have overtaken the blue greens. My original thought was to shoot the video for this song in an infinite space, like a field, wandering through a canvas. Miriam Wilson came up with the genius idea to film on the ocean. In 2019, Ward has grown a fanbase of tens of thousands online, and already played or booked their high-energy post-punk set at over 30 shows, including Echo Park Rising (Los Angeles, CA), Mesa Music Festival (Mesa, AZ) and set to headline the LIFA Festival (Mexico City) this October along with a 2nd tour of Mexico.
