THE FESTIVE YEARS ARE A FOUR PIECE ROCK BAND BASED OUT OF AUSTIN, TX… and they were once aptly described by a fan as the "punk rock Everly Brothers". They were founded in 2012 by Christopher Loyd. In an effort to give credence to those who have gone before, Loyd’s bandmates affectionately refer to him as “Doc”. The Festive Years consist of drummer Cliff Fitch, bassist Steven Stringer, and guitarist Schuyler Costello in addition to Loyd, who sings and plays guitar for the band as well. They are a collective of experienced show band musicians, giving their live show a flare not often found within the realms of alternative rock.
