Chicago Hip-Hop artist Sycosis or S.Y. combines an aggressive delivery, hard hitting punch lines, and a style that varies but a message that stays consistent. 
Nominated as "Artist To Watch" in the 2012 Underground Music Awards NYC, Sycosis has been setting his own standards high. He followed that success with being nominated for "Hip-Hop Artist Of The Year" by the Midwest Urban Music Awards. In 2013 Sycosis was ranked the #1 Hip-Hop artist for Chicago from May-August on Reverbnation . Today his music is being streamed globally in over 60 countries around the world. In January of 2015 Sycosis launched Gr8er Than Self Entertainment company and embarked on a new journey founding the "How The Midwest Was 1 Tour" uniting over 50 independent artist form across the region at major venues. 
Songs like "Against The Wall" ,"My City", "A.N.C", and more have landed in international television and commercial spots such as Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Law & Order SVU, Dude Perfect, Chozen, Sunny Delight, and Vanquish Fitness just to name a few. With music that can be found on shows from ESPN to NBC he continues new partnerships such as working with Artlist to deliver music to Gamers, Youtube Bloggers, and major corporations. 
Sycosis has returned with his 5th studio album "Almost Cool Enough" scheduled to be released August 23, 2019. It features production from upcoming but platinum producers such as Young Kio, producer of "Old Town Road" and international sensations The Cratez.
