Rollin on the River is every Friday in July: July 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.
Produced annually since 1996, Rollin' on the River is a free community music series featuring local musicians in a festival setting at Wingfield Park.
What started as a simple concert series featuring local bands in the park has evolved into one of the most anticipated and popular free community events, attracting from 2,000-2,500 people (of all ages and lifestyles) to Downtown Reno each Friday night in July.
We produce the series each year as part of our company's core mission, which includes promoting the Arts and making the community we serve a better place to live. We reach a substantial portion of the community through the RN&R each week – people who are looking for activities and events. Through Rollin' on the River, we're providing them with an opportunity to do something fun – and free - for the entire family, in Downtown Reno.
Rollin' on the River also serves to build an audience for Artown's weekly "Movies in the Park" series, which takes place immediately after our concerts. We have been an Artown Presenter since Artown's inception and continue to work closely with them.
Rollin' On The River concerts are free to the public. Wingfield Park is at the corner of West First Street and Arlington Avenue in downtown Reno. Public parking is plentiful within a short walk. Rollin' on the River, THE place to be in Downtown Reno, Friday evenings in July!
No glass, outside alcohol, high back chair or pets are permitted in Wingfield Park during shows. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at each concert.
