Shurenia T. but better known as her stage name "Reena Ree" is straight out of Lansing Michigan. She started writing her own lyrics and rapping at the young age of 10 years old. Her biggest music influence is Tupac and other artist on Death Row Records. Raised by her father on the northside neighborhood of lansing, Reena grew up around drug dealers, pimps, & real street hustlers. Recording her first song at age 15 with a couple of high school friends and winning first place in a local hip hop gong show,  Reena Ree always knew music was her gift.   Giving up wasn't an option once she became a single mother. She continued to pursue her own music, perform at local bars, dropping verses and hooks for other local artist. She hopped back in the music scene doing the Mitten Mayhem all women chypher 2018 freestyling to Mobb Deeps "Its The Real".  This year January 2020 she entered the Next2Rise Showcase in Detroit Michigan and won first place. She performed in Baltimore Maryland as her prize in front of Love and Hip Hop New York's own Rich Dollaz.  March 15th 2020 she's participating in the Next2Rise March Madness $5000 Tournament, in New York City's  T.V series "The 64". Dropping her first single "Cap City" January 30th Reena Ree is an upcoming breath of fresh air, and a dope female rap artist people have yet to hear and see.
