My life changed when I came home one dayand heard my brother (ELAY) and his homeboy doing music. Since poetry was somethingthat I already knew about, I felt that I could use that as an advantage to writemusic. We created a group called Flight Cr3w which later changed to G5. My unclecreated a label called Creek Bottom Ent and we worked with him. He got us into carshow to perform. He brought rappers down here such as Lil Wayne, Z-Ro, Paul Wall,Etc. My most exciting memory was when he brought young Joc and we got tospend the whole day with him and take pictures. We went to highland malland the experience of the fans running after him was very intriguing. Thatexperience as a whole made me realize that music was something that Iwanted to be a part of. I also wanted to be a part of giving back andmaking history. Its a dream of mine to open a Foundation for kids. Being asingle mother was a struggle and I made a promise that if I was everblessed with the opportunity to make music and change people lives, I would give backto my community. I want to visit the world and see GODS creation of the differentcultures. Writing has become a part of my life. It started out as a hobbybut the responses I received from different people made me realize that I wasblessed with a talent and could potentially turn my dreams into reality. I would rather be ashes than dust;I would rather that my sparks shouldburn out in a brilliant blaze than that it should be stifled by dry rot;Iwould rather be a superb meteor, every atom in me a magnificent glow, thana sleepy and permanent planet;The proper function of man is to live not toexist,I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them,I shall use mytime.
