Members: Lucas Young, singer-guitarist, is delivering his heart and soul backed by J.V. Tabbada on drums and Justin Freschi on bass. Lucas Young and the Wilderness started as a tiny seed. Songs written in the living room wailed out on an acoustic guitar. After various changes in the landscape, Lucas discovered the possibility of trying to make a bigger sound. The sound is honest indie-rock Americana with guitar-driven hooks and rich melodies. Lucas has been writing and performing songs since 1995 and has shared the stage with Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music, Agent Orange, Jackson United (Chris Shiflet of the Foo Fighters), and other notable acts.   Various musicians, ramblers and lone drifters visit the Wilderness often, making the Wilderness’ live experience an unexpected treat every time.  Less
