Born on May 27, 1994, in the Lafitte Projects. The oldest Housing developments of New Orleans, Louisiana; located Downtown in the 6th Ward of New Orleans Treme neighborhood. Jeffery Allen Williams better known by his stage name LME J3 grew up with a great deal of responsibility as his father was never present in his life growing up surrounded by drugs, guns, violence and poverty only made things harder. He recalls that there were times when they didn’t have enough food to eat, so him and his cousins poured syrup on bread to get full or walked to the car wash and gas station to hustle up enough money to buy food for the household. As a kid seeing the success and attention music was bringing his older cousin. The legendary rapper and songwriter who was once signed to Master P’s No Limits Records. James Adarryl Tapp Jr. better known by his stage name Soulja Slim, Inspired him to create his own music. Putting together his his first rhymes at the age of 9, then coming up with the idea to build stage out of old wood he found around his neighborhood and placing car batteries and rocks underneath and performed his rhymes in front of few neighbors and family members. After getting a great response from the crowd, j3 said that’s when he knew he had the talent to be a successful musician and started taking his craft more serious. Then August, 23, 2005. LME J3 and his family’s lives will take a major turn when the city they call home was left under water after being hit struck by hurricane Katrina. This force them to relocate to Austin, Texas. A place they knew nothing about, with little to no hip hop scene. As a musician this made it harder to for J3 to get exposure as a new musician, but didn’t stop him from pursuing his career. This only made him work harder and more independent as a artist. With a creative sound and high energy performer. LME J3 has a bright future to be successful in the music industry. Less
