Ernest Gregory bka K.C. aka The Legend K.C. has been rapping for the past 20 +yrs. Rapping out of Akron, Ohio originally from Washington D.C., he has been putting it in for a longtime. He put the mic down when his mother past away in 1995. It took him awhile to want to ever do it again. Still having the passion for it he set out on his own comeback campaign. “I’m not into mix-tapes” as once quoted from the self-proclaimed hip-hop legend. He was part of a group called NBC Posse. The group dis-banded but he kept the name as a business. He released an album called (Impression). From there the rest took flight, helping and recording with other artists such as Chuck Chill, Pete Fox, Twanze’, Top Notch, Miss Charelle, Vell Rob, Team Tuck, Billy Chemicals, just to name a few. He continued with many more albums (Speechless, Doomsday, Kc-unplugged, Tril-o-gee, Kc’s hits & misses, Step back or Get Stepped on). KC can hold his own with every rapper he encounters. What he calls his best album, "Step Back or Get Stepped On" can sit next to the greats, and the gifted. I.e. Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Eric B & Rakim just to name a few. He went to school to learn how to work the board himself. All his releases are under his moniker KC with The Legend K.C. sure to follow. His indie label Tha Company / NBC Posse Productions LLC has a lot of material that hasn’t even been released. Kc has recorded well over 400 songs and as of this writing has written 500+!The most recent albums which are (Champion pt1, Vendetta, and the most recent release "Legend Continues") have all shown a diverse rap style. The type that artists look for over their career in rap. These last 3 albums are sure to impress. If this is the road that he has taken, then the rap game is sure to see its leader!
