John has a melting pot of influences when it comes to cooking up some good music.  As John would say, “I’m a Texan seasoned with some Cajun spice.” He must be right because he recently was awarded 2018 Texas Country Music Awards, Cajun Country Artist of the Year, a category highlighting Country Artists with a Cajun flair in their live shows. John also was awarded a songwriter of the year award for his current radio single, "Don't Want To Love Her Anymore."  John's debut EP produced two Top 40 singles on the Texas Country Music charts.  John's new LP album, released in April 2018, "Moments Like This" has already produced two charting singles. The first single of the new album "Buzzed On Loving You" stayed in the Top 75 Texas Country Chart for 10 weeks.  His current single is shaping up to go even further. The success of John's new album in just a short time as garnered opening performances for Country legends and Hot Texas Country Acts alike. John has appeared in two episodes of Outdoors Unplugged, an unique outdoors tv show that features musical guests. John was invited to perform at the 2018 Texas Country Music Awards and has gained media attention with multiple articles written about his music by bloggers and pod casters. John's current goal is to broaden his performance area and gaining higher profile show performances as well as climbing further up the charts and gaining more fans.  Less
