Hall Johnson is a guitar pop-rock band that was formed in July 2016. The name Hall Johnson, for those who don’t know, was coined from the road that runs through the band’s hometown in Dallas, Texas, granting the band some early recognition around the area. In April of 2017, they released their split-single "City Lights/Upstate”. City Lights gained lots of traction and identity for the band. From there Hall Johnson released their highly anticipated follow up to their debut EP 2017 release “Goalie” called “Day Trip” in 2018 and was able to not only mature as songwriters but as childhood best friends too. From there Hall Johnson was able to grow as artists in the Dallas scene and moved elsewhere when attending college in the Fall of 2018 operating in their individual universities. After a year apart Hall Johnson has moved in together and is currently residing in Austin, Texas. As they have come accustom to the culture and life of living in Austin, the band has reinvented itself. Recording textured, direct and authentic sound that displays an even blend of each individual member’s talents that creates a consistent and recognizable tone. Today Hall Johnson is recording their next project of three singles schedules for an early 2020 release. Less
