Forest lives in Ardèche, a small region of France, but grew up in Washington D.C. His world settles between tow genders, quite different in the end, but which share the same passion and rage within their interpretation: folk and punk rock. That makes you want to compare him to Tom Gabel from Against Me! , Chuck Ragan, Frank Turner, Evan Dando from the Lemonheads or Glen Hansard. All these artists who started playing in punk rock bands before taking the road with an acoustic guitar and traded distortion against the desire to hug wood and to perform in the simplest way, eliminating any artifice. Forest did his first class' within The Pookies, a savage and rage full trio. As rage full as incontrollable, the band consumed itself and self destroyed after one album. Besides that, he started a pop punk trio, Sons of Buddha with his brother Ed from UncommonMenFromMars and Pat from the hardcore band ISP. Always trying to grow his musical experience, he is also guitarist for Opium du Peuple ("Me first and the Gimme Gimmes like" French standard covers) and has been for three years, guitar and co-lead singer in Annita Babyface and the Tasty Poneys.
