Where all exciting adventures start off- the backseat of a car. Lo and behold, 9 months later Felix Stash was born. After sneakily transporting rum in a Lipton iced tea bottle, during the South African prohibition, the inner dissidence shared by most South Africans, allowed for a naughty rendezvous of ingenious ideas to conceal this fairly innocent undertaking. This paired with an intriguing binge of Narcos Mexico; the covert hiding spot thus was knighted: “The Felix Stash”. Over the past few years, Felix Stash has been involved in numerous projects with some of his music achieving radio play. He has also played at some of the countries’ premier venues- even sharing the stage with South African Royalty acts, namely, Jack Parow and The Narrow etc. This Pretoria-based musician has recently dropped his debut single: ‘Zamalek’. Described by some as a party anthem, it brings together a musically diverse arrangement with characteristically pithy lyrics which anyone can connect with and revel in. With musical influences ranging from the soft caress of classical music to the hard-hitting throbs of moshing metal, Felix Stash brings a unique flavour to pop-rock. His music style is best described as an evolving sound that can’t sit still. He is currently in studio working on new material, with every new song bringing a fresh vibe and something uniquely him to look forward to.
