At the age of 13, Dark Like Cola recalls having to relocate to Olievenhoutbosch in Centurion due to family matters.  His love for Hip Hop music grew more in him in 2014 when the South African Hip Hop was at it's peak. DLC looks up to music heavyweights such as  K.O , Royce Da 5'9, Locksmith, Zakwe and Eminem to mention a few. Dark Like Cola started doing music since March 2019 after he decided to overcome his fears and couldn't ignore the calling as it was louder than ever before.  He signed a contract with Garrizone Empire Musik in August 2019 and released his first single on the 31st of December 2019 called "Haters"then followed many hits  The South African Entertainment industry should watch out for him 🤞.
