Chango is a versatile dj located in North Lake Tahoe, CA. You will find that his live show can consist of many different elements of music from many different genres. His main influences are hip-hop, soul, funk and house music. Chango is very involved in his local music scene from his radio show on Sunday night's, "Chango's Sunday Night Lounge" to producing shows, doing sound, booking, promotions and dj'ing. Chango has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Jurassic 5, Mark Farina, Doc Martin, Psychemagik, Fort Knox Five, Rick Preston, Galen, Solar, Random Rab, Scumfrog, Pumpkin, Love and Light, Stylust Beats, Mochipet, Marty Party, Joker, micah j and many more! Chango was born and raised in Agawam, MA. He has been playing music since he was 9 years old. He started out on violin and worked his way up through the stringed instruments of the orchestra. When he was 17, he began to play guitar and so began his fascination with all things electric. Chango began dj'ing in 2000 while living in Waltham, MA. He had a dj for a roomate and he became very interested in how mixing worked. When he got his first set of turntables, he was mostly interested in turntablists, Z-Trip, Mixmaster Mike, Cut Chemist and Q-Bert were a few of his influential favorites.   In 2002, Chango returned to his west coast home and began to be involved in the small but, burgeoning electronic music scene in North Lake Tahoe. He has been practicing and throwing parties ever since. He calls Lake Tahoe his home because, it truly is the place that feeds him creatively.
