Casii Stephan is a Tulsa-based, MN born indie soul/rock artist who has a “powerful, versatile voice and a fascination with ‘the challenge of writing a hook that will get stuck in people’s heads.”’ (Tulsa People) Stephan has been compared to Florence Welch, Fiona Apple, and Carole King, as her vocal timbre possesses a full and warm quality. Her songs have received awards and nominations from the Independent Music Awards, Hollywood Music and Media Awards, and USA Songwriting Competition. She has performed multiple official SXSW Showcases and co-founded Tulsa’s first female-driven music festival, MisFEST. Her 2019 SXSW performance received recognition from American Songwriter as a “knock out set of blues-funk soul”. In June, Casii performed a special solo showcase during the IMA Music Conference and taught a workshop at Paramount Hotel in NYC.
