Albion Kristof is the primary project of pianist/composer/synthesist Adam Kormondy. Kristof's music explores a wide variety of bands, styles, and personalities, including the hard-driving Albion Kristof Quartet, the fluid Trio AKA, and the experimental duo AJAJ. Albion Kristof is the primary project of pianist/composer/synthesist Adam Kormondy. Kristof's music explores a wide variety of bands, styles, and personalities, including the hard-driving Albion Kristof Quartet, the fluid Trio AKA, and the experimental duo AJAJ. Kristof's college senior recital and debut album, "Eclipse" was released in June 2021 featuring a dynamic sextet exploring odd time signatures, soaring harmonies, and free interplay between the members. Currently a few more projects are in development, including Trio AKA's first album and some other surprises. Aside from his work as Kristof, Kormondy also teaches piano and composition, and gigs regularly in Southern California. Less
