AkaREDLETTER PRODUCTIONS Check out my profile on Suno! suno.com/@pastoralvinyls3392 BIO - My name is Ralph E. Davis, I'm currently a published songwriter. In the past I enjoyed singing and songwriting immensely, but singing became I struggle for me after I had surgery of my throat; my vocal cords, sad to say, just couldn't function the same as well as they use too afterwards, so singing isn't my first love as much anymore. I took creative writing in highschool; which I graduated in 1978. I still do enjoy writing and creating melodies much more than singing now, basically because of my experiencing creative writing classes in the past and presently. I was noticed by family, friends, and associates like some of my teachers in elementary, middle, and high school who considered me to be a triple threat in my early twenties because I could dance, sing and act. I was offered many opportunities to seek an entertainment profession from multiple agents and entertainers with connections in the industry of entertainment, all of which I declined for various reasons. I also co-wrote four songs placed in a movie that aired on HBO in the 1980's called "They Still Call Me Bruce", featuring the Asian/Korean comedian Johnny Yune. THEY STILL CALL ME BRUCE - 1983 https://youtu.be/ccbD2oMmmm0?si=AsZO6Z-UPPf2EPBc The opportunity for these productions was through a then known studio called "Dawnbreaker Studio" owned and operated by Seals and Croft of the very popular hit song "Summer Breeze" and other songs. The studio was located in the city of San Fernando, in the San Fernando Valley, near my home where I grew up. I worked along with their nephew currently known as Jamey Jaz (aka) Jamey Heath Jr., on YouTube. Jamey has worked in the past with different genres and artists such as pop, rock, soul, r&b and country, etc., with singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and arranger - Ren (Lorenzo) Toppano, of Parrish & Toppano, also Shanice Wilson, Jody Watley, Rahsaan Patterson, and Wayne Brady; just to name a few. I was offered a songwriting agreement, and standard payment for my background vocals, also for the four songs placed in the movie mentioned above. Happily though, I did make wise choices, and had the opportunity to have sung professionally in the past as a background singer on a Spanish market track, it was a song entitled "Doctor Psiquiatra" performed by Gloria Trevi, which is performed even to this day by her worldwide. GLORIA TREVI Official Video - 1989 https://youtu.be/FciPELr6wP0?si=BWiTutMtvkx0Z5OO Between 1990 and 1995 I met Billy Griffin and Donald Griffin, Billy took over for Smokey Robinson when he had left the members of the Miracles, Billy Griffin and the Miracles, are famous for the following songs: 2023 WHERE ARE THEY NOW Billy Griffin+The Miracles https://youtu.be/8DfTUJ-5f3k?si=ImYrrk_r8HaTzcpx LOVE MACHINE https://youtu.be/XypYDKnFdQk?si=WIGiUYEbX2H5x3nS, DO IT BABY https://youtu.be/CeRL4ph88M0?si=n44tfduKd9LPl8mi Billy Griffin and Donald Griffin along with their cousin, wanted to reform the Miracles, they personally spoke to me at a club called the Westlake Inn in Westlake Village near, Agoura Hills, Hidden Hills and Calabasas areas of California, they all invited me to be a new Miracle member, but I declined their offer happily. In 2011, I attended the "Los Angeles School of Songwriting", located in Burbank, CA. I'm self-taught on the piano, and I play by ear. I currently have a library of copyrighted songs that I would love to have fully produced with someone; much like yourself, I hope. I would seriously still enjoy seeing how far, high, and fast we can soar in a sky of music and production, and just see where it will all lead. With that said, I also did some background acting at Paramount productions studio, where I played a child actors father, through Ubu productions studio, and Universal Studios, where I played two different characters, a Grip or stagehand, and a cameraman news reporter in an episode entitled "Ever After" for "Murder She Wrote" starring Angela Lansbury, co-starring Kate Mulgrew and a few other well-known actors and actresses of the time. This is the episode that I am in for MURDER SHE WROTE, I finally found it. I had two parts, one was as a grip, AFTER THE VERY FIRST SCENE, I'm walking backwards with a wardrobe cart with another fellow, I'M WEARING A RED SWEATER. The second part I played was as cameraman, I burst into the courtroom with everyone following me, and the camera pans onto my face holding the camera, I'M WEARING A LIGHT GREEN JACKET WITH THE CAMERA IN MY HANDS. ------------ MURDER SHE WROTE "Ever After" Series 8 Episode 16 https://youtu.be/n32T3Ct_joE?si=rMGJSzjPcmKRuoaY So, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. If possible, I look forward to working with you in the future.
