From an early age, Zex had a burning passion to make a positive impact on the impoverished areas he grew up in through his artistic talent. Beginning his musical journey at the age of 17, Zex quickly rose through the ranks as a force to be reckoned with. His undeniable talent and ability to use music as a platform for change caught the attention of countless charities, leading him to cross paths with none other than the esteemed Ghetto President, Bobi Wine, during a talent search. Zex's remarkable skills earned him a spot in Bobi Wine's Fire Base Crew, a renowned music label dedicated to edutainment and inspiring positive change through art. Within the Fire Base Crew, Zex Bilangilangi stands out as a prominent figure and was aptly awarded the title of Ghetto Prime Minister by Bobi Wine himself. Embracing this influential role, Zex has become an inspirational figure to young people across Uganda, especially those residing in resource-constrained ghetto areas. His passion for uplifting those in need has led him to engage in numerous charitable endeavors, including collaborating with Collusion Network as their official ambassador in Uganda. Together with this organization, Zex strives to break down barriers and create opportunities for young people by utilizing the power of music. He actively collaborates with Viva Con Agua, a Germany-based NGO dedicated to extending access to clean tap water in remote regions such as Karamoja. By leveraging his platform as a respected artist, Zex works hand in hand with Viva Con Agua in their mission to improve the quality of life for communities in need.
