Few years back, I went through a long dry spell of songwriting. I'd started dozens of tunes, but could never finish 'em. As a challenge, I told myself I had to finish the next song I started- no matter what. I could throw it away if I hated it. Turns out, this took all the pressure off, and I was able to get through this song (lyrics & music) in one sitting. It's developed a bit since then with the extra looping parts, but the core is still quite there. Recorded all in one take. Gear used: Boss RC-300, Line 6 m13. Eastman E10d. Filmed with a Zoom Q2n, iPhone, and macbook.
