ThatKing Nimz is an independent music producer/composer/artist from the South of Johannesburg, Naturena. He was born in Soweto in Mfolo and grew up living in the heart of Jozi, Berea and Hillbrow since 1993. His music career started at a young age of  7 as he discovered his love for music. Although his passion for music was blindsided by his studies and aspirations of being a doctor by his parents. He always dreamed of being one of the best producers in the world. With that being said, school never stopped him from being creative with the music. He started producing his beats by banging the school tables and making the class sing in primary. This made him popular in school and boosted his interest in creating his own music. During his high school years he persued making music when he received an Air Mac that was Chico Twala’s from his friend. Garage band was like a dream come true and it also had the Reason software. He then went on to study music composition at Boston but never finished his studies due to tuition fees missing. He has been producing music since 2014 and focuses on genres that include, house, hip hop, amapiano, RnB and Afro beats. He got to feature on some radio and to shows including Etv frenzy, Moja love, Touch HD, Hillbrow FM, Westside FM, GauTv etc. He has now also got his beats and one unreleased song placed on the second most watched Tv show in South Africa (Skeem Saam) ThatKing Nimz plans on dropping his new single titled “I Do” on the 7th of October 2023 and continue releasing his recorded music as singles for the period of this year.
