Born in Austin, Texas, Sterling Cabbiness got his start in music during high school. That is where he started writing and performing his own music. After it became evident that he wanted to be a musician, he was kicked out at seventeen. That's when he dedicated himself to being a musician full time. Sterling took up a job working 60+ hour weeks to make his dream a reality. He released his first EP in 2017 titled "Heaven’s Coming Down", which was self written and produced. Sterling release four more EPs in 2018 self written and produced which were "Dogs", "Coyotes", "Foxes", and "Wolves". Sterling blends Pop, Folk, Hip-Hop and R&B elements into his music. Making a very eclectic catalog of work. He is know for his performances with the aid of a loop pedal. Acting as a one man band with his guitar, looper, and vocals. Despite the obstacles he's faced, Sterling delivers heartfelt music that is honest and authentic. Sterling says that his reason for being a musician is, "I write songs for therapy, and maybe if someone knows they're not alone it can help them too." Even with the challenges he's faced with depression, abuse, and homelessness he articulates, "When you hit your lowest point, it's only up from there."
