O'Neil  Richards is a musical talent like none you've heard in a long time if ever, his music is described as thought provoking and for varied reasons. An artist that speaks as he's inspired and not based on the slang of the moment.  A Singer/songwriter, script & screenwriter, producer and Director of over a dozen theatre productions. Born in Kingston Jamaica and raised in Newport District in the Parish of St Mary by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs Daley. From an early age, storytelling was a part of the fabric and DNA of Richards, something that was encouraged and supported by his grandparents along with all the other talents and skills he naturally displayed. They would remind him constantly that manners is the most important tool a man could possess for life’s journey  “mannas cyar yuh tru di wurl”  Mama would say to him, a lesson Richards hope to leave after his time has come and gone. “I shall stand” is Richards’ first official release, the title track from the album of the same name, released on November 26, 2016.
