Kool and Together originated from Victoria, Texas and has been performing around the Lone Star State since the 70s. Staring off performing at local Venus, they eventually were invited to perform at The Lincoln Center in New York City. People were and still are fascinated with the powerful blend of funk, rock and the band has even coined their own genre. “Black Rock, Texas Funk”, a category that fits them well.
