Oakland’s powerhouse collective Jazz Mafia dives deep into the purple catalog for a special tribute to the music of PRINCE. From slow-burning ballads to high-octane funk anthems, this show reimagines Prince’s iconic songs through the lens of jazz, soul, and hip-hop. Led by composer/trombonist Adam Theis, the ensemble brings fresh arrangements and deep grooves to this timeless repertoire.
