Ivvas is a progressive acoustic musical project consisting solely of songwriter RJM and showcases a very intimate experience between voice, guitar, and deeply heartfelt lyrics. Born and raised in El Paso, TX, RJM relocated to Austin and started to commence what would become his debut album amidst the surrounding elements of art and nature. Ivvas is now in the process of releasing its fourth album all while releasing singles in between to showcase its natural evolution. Taking great influence from bands and musicians such as Porcupine Tree, Tool, Opeth, and a little bit of Ottmar Liebert thrown in for good measure, RJM takes the acoustic guitar and blends genres such as rock, classical, prog, folk, and gothic music to create a foundation to build towards the future.
