Herbert Bail takes you on a soulful journey through the dark heart of the American ethos, emerging with a silver lining of hope and optimism. LA Weekly declares Herbert Bail one of the Best Shows to See in LA. “Bottom line: Herbert Bail leaves you amazed!” says mySpoonful. The first album The Future's in the Past “carves out myths of its own," says Kevin Bronson of BuzzbandsLA. The album traverses from the cryptic shadows of Holy Smokes to the Western infused ballads portrayed in songs like The Nature of Things. Herbert Bail has performed on the main stage at LA Weekly's Summer Nights Series, Lighting in a Bottle Music Festival and SubZERO fest to name a few. Herbert Bail can be seen regularly at the echo, The Satellite and The Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. Recently, the band collaborated with renowned director Björn Rühmann to create a series of three music videos with inter-connected narratives inspired by three songs from their album The Future’s in the Past. The first in the series, The Nature of Things, explores the story of an isolated man and his dog and their last road. Herbert Bail is honored to have been featured on KXLU, KTLA, GOOD MORNING LA, AXS TV, SOFAR SOUNDS, SXSW'S CRAVE\MARSHALL MUSIC SHOWCASE, THE BASEMENT SESSIONS and has also earned notable attention in LA RECORD, BUZZBANDSLA, LAS VEGAS WEEKLY,INLAND EMPIRE WEEKLY,and was FILTER MAGAZINE’S FEATURED BAND OF THE MONTH.
