This will be the first time for Herbert Bail Orchestra to perform in Reno, and there were no better bands to be found than Six Mile Station and the Deadly Gallows to perform with them!

The Herbert Bail Orchestra creates musical narratives that are epic tales. Taking the listener on a journey through the dark heart of the American West, emerging with a silver lining of hope and optimism. With members hailing from all over different parts of the US - Herbert Bail is a collective alter ego comprised of a band of schemers and dreamers who make music together. They are a group of foot-stomping indie-folk bandits with a taste for all things duplicitous and danceable. Think a young Arcade Fire + Gogol Bordello perhaps. They have a knack for enticing anyone in earshot to get down and boogie.

The Deadly Gallows is a Reno Pirate Band that has been around since the beginning of 2008. In April of 2009 we released a 14 song full length, which includes 4 songs partially written by the pre-cursor, Yarmada. The band has gone through some line changes throughout 2009 and 2010, and we are now working hard on the full length we’ve been pushing for most of year now.

Relying solely on acoustic instruments Six Mile Station is the self proclaimed “apocalypse-proof band” delivering an authentic American folk music. Their intricately layered music and rich vocal harmonies take influence from modern contemporaries like The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, and The Lumineers.
