This is what the Sloot FM Activation Drive was all about. On Saturday the 13th of March 2022, Sloot FM held an event called “Sloot FM Activation Drive” to interact with listeners. The 1st Activation Drive for the day was at Riverside Square Shopping, for the mall activation.presented by none other than Local is Lekerr’s, Lindelani Malaka. With the crowd excited to see their favourite presenters, the day was off to a great start. While all the action took place on stage, artists from the area were also given a platform to showcase their talents, the Skharamma Jepe Group kept the crowd on their feet , as they graced upon the stage with their heavenly sounds, meanwhile the likes of Miss Bakerr cheered the crowd with her Hip Hop and Speaker Breaker & Monate Mapsatla with his Bolo-Piano Music. Thandiswa Sajini of Skharamma Jepe Group also launched her album at the event, revealing that she released her album titled “Thobela Morena” to comfort fellow Christians through difficult times. The organizer of the event Clive Jackson shared some titbits with us concerning the event ” The purpose of this event is to gather more listeners as we’re moving from Diepsloot to Incubation Drive here in Riverside , to also give artists a chance to showcase what God has given them.” “The reason why we’re moving from Diepsloot it’s because we’ve experienced 6 burglaries in a space of 3 months , whereby all our studio equipment was stolen and we have that belief this side our equipment is safe , our move from Diepsloot doesn’t mean we’ll no longer broadcast Diepsloot community stories.” he said. © 2022 All Rights Reserved by Africa Newz
