Gilbert Austine Makhubedu aKa Da-Gilozz is a vocalist, Song writer, Producer and musician born in Limpopo Province in a small town called Burgersfort. He started performing arts from the early age of 14 singing with clap n tap music choirs from around the community and also involved in community stage dramas. In 2009 he established a gospel choir named Limpopo Gospel Foundation with the aim of preaching gospel through music and praise. In 2015 he then diversified to to sing Amapiano and kwaito genre, he then released his debut Amapiano EP in 2022 and managed to share stage with the likes of Casper Nyovest, Focalistic, DJ Pentse, Wadada, the late Vusi MaR5, Enny Man da Guitar, Mapentane and many more. In 2023 he got nominated for MAMA 23 Awards as the best Vocalist. He is particularly known as Da-Gilozz Wa Lebene Plaas, Wa Lebene Plaas meaning a boy from village farms.
